Job summary

Veranova, a global leader in API development and manufacturing, seeks a Facilities Engineer to optimize process and support equipment performance, lead capital projects, and provide SME to boost site safety, quality, throughput, and uptime.

Responsibilities include supporting reactor systems, isolation and drying equipment, milling, packaging, and cleanrooms, while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Capex teams to ensure equipment is fit for intended duty and downtime is minimized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering (Essential).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities engineering, equipment design, process engineering or project engineering in the pharmaceutical industry or similar (Essential).
• Experience with bulk pharmaceutical manufacturing, ISO 7 & 8 cleanrooms and related support systems (Preferred).
• Certification in Project Management, Utility Systems Maintenance/Operation, cGMP Design (Preferred)
• Certification in pressure safety relief system design (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide SME for reactor, isolation, milling, packaging, and cleanrooms equipment.
• Monitor performance and recommend improvements for reliability and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and Capex to ensure equipment is fit for duty and downtime is minimized.
• Support inspections and remediation recommendations from regulators or customers.
• Assist with process hazards analysis, deviations, investigations and site improvements.
• Execute small capital projects related to process and support system equipment.
• Stand/walk for long periods and use PPE as required.
• Additional duties to support team objectives and Veranova goals.
