Job summary

DT Midstream is seeking a mid-level engineer to apply knowledge of engineering principles to natural gas facilities, including amine treating, dehydration, and compressor stations. You will assist with critical projects, develop scopes, and contribute to plant design and optimization.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with preferred skills in process modeling and field operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum).
• 3 years of job-related engineering experience.
• Process modeling experience preferred (VMG Sim, ProMax).
• Experience with sour gas treating and field-level operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies intermediate level knowledge and background of engineering principles to natural gas facilities including large scale amine treating plants, dehydration plants, and compressor stations.
• Assists with developing, coordinating and directing critical projects and field engineering assignments.
• Provide analysis, design, specification and cost estimates for natural gas treating/processing plants.
• Develop scope of work, manage bid process and facility design/construction.
• Optimize existing plants by gathering operational data and working through plant simulations.
• Review and assess new technology, processes, materials and equipment.
