Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking an on-site Engineer responsible for the general maintenance and repair of the facility, its utility systems and safety-critical infrastructure. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; trade school or building training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance; mechanical, HVAC or electrical repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance within assigned time frames.
• Maintains electrical, HVAC, boiler, plumbing systems and general building upkeep.
• Responds to emergencies involving utility failures, life safety and security.
• Operates building management systems and related controls.
• Leads and models quality customer service and teamwork.
