Job summary

Insight Global seeks a mechanical/electrical/chemical engineer to maintain and improve black and clean utilities systems at a manufacturing site. You will support project execution, ensure quality and environmental compliance, and mentor Facilities Technicians.

The role emphasizes process improvement using LEAN concepts, developing maintenance standards, and upholding safety and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Knowledgeable in cGMP utilities and operating in a regulated environment (FDA, cGMP, OSHA).
• Experience with black utilities systems (chilled water, plant steam, compressed air, vacuum, waste water, HVAC) and clean utilities (WFI, clean steam, process air).
• Ability to read CAD drawings and review P&ID, HVAC, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve system specifications for black utilities.
• Provide technical support for site project execution as required.
• Adhere to Quality & environmental regulations within area of responsibility.
• Support technical development of Facilities Technicians.
• Continuous process improvement using cLEAN® concepts.
• Maintain and establish standards for procedures & maintenance plans.
• All safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties.
