Job summary

Paradise Valley Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a temporary maintenance technician to ensure the reliable operation of hospital equipment and systems in National City, CA. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas systems while driving as needed for company business.

The role supports a safe, compliant hospital environment with logs and preventive maintenance, contributing to patient care and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blueprints.
• Valid current state driver's license.
• Minimum 0-1 years healthcare experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in hospital and provides for a safe working environment.
• Also maintain and repair equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
• Driving as needed for company business.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $23.00 to $33.31. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
