Unity Point Health - Meriter is looking for a mechanical or electrical Facility Engineer to plan, implement and maintain infrastructure and equipment across its hospital and clinics. The Facility Engineer will lead efforts to develop infrastructure projects, maintain building standards and documentation, participate in construction project planning, and lead energy efficiency initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree - Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent field experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of engineering design related to commercial buildings. Or construction related leadership (foreman/project manager) for healthcare projects.
  • Proficient in local and national building codes.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare facility infrastructure, e.g. air handling units, boilers, chillers, medical gas systems, fire protection, emergency generators, electrical distribution systems, fire alarm, etc
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with WI Department of Health
  • Professional Engineer License
