Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA, seeks a Facilities Engineer (Fluids & Cryogenics) to lead the design, installation, and maintenance of industrial systems across the Starlink Production facility. You will troubleshoot, improve, and upgrade compressed air and cryogenic networks to ensure safety and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with controls, automation, and electrical teams, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while driving energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of professional experience with compressed air systems, cryogenic systems, and industrial utility systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, installation, and maintenance of industrial compressed air systems (compressors, dryers, filters, receivers, piping, controls).
• Lead design, installation and maintenance of industrial cryogenic systems (liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, gaseous nitrogen).
• Support operation and maintenance of plant utility systems (exhaust fans, pumps, chillers, compressors, RO skids).
• Perform equipment sizing, selection, and engineering calculations for pumps, valves, vessels, and related systems.
