Job summary

Just Evotec Biologics seeks a proactive Facilities Engineering Technician to perform equipment rounds, maintenance, and data reviews in a cGMP setting at the Redmond site. You’ll support validations, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining strict EH&S standards.

You will engage with gas systems, metrology, and plant utilities, using BAS/DeltaV/MAXIMO to document work and ensure compliance. Growth opportunities exist within a collaborative, curiosity-driven team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of education/training/experience in a cGMP related environment.
• Associate degree in engineering or engineering technology is preferred but not required.
• Metrology/Calibration program ability/expertise; mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment rounds and readings to collect and review operational data.
• Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance per SOPs and schedules.
• Assist with troubleshooting of equipment issues (mechanical, electrical, metrology/instrumentation, or automation).
• Manage gas delivery systems and LN2 cryovessels.
• Support IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities.
• Direct and assist contractor/vendor activities as assigned.
• Adhere to Change Control, Site and Global SOPs; update SOPs as needed.
• Follow EH&S guidelines to ensure compliance with WA state, EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain required training and qualifications; document work.
• Navigate and document work using Word, Excel, BAS, DeltaV, MAXIMO.
• Acquire knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical qualifications and applicable FDA/OSHA/EH&S/EPA rules.
