Job summary

The D is seeking a General Engineer to perform routine and preventive maintenance across the property. You should have working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building controls and fire safety systems.

You will operate hand and power tools, complete work orders promptly, and communicate clearly with Supervisors and team members. This role requires flexibility for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire safety systems.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and reading basic schematics.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical instructions.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance property wide.
• Work daily with hand tools and power tools.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Communicate work details and follow up to completion.
• Notify Supervisors of parts and inventory needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain safety rules.
• Follow management direction and work safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team and uphold policies.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
