Six Flags Corp is seeking an experienced Facilities Electrician to support our maintenance department in Santa Clarita, CA. The role requires working knowledge of NEC codes, electrical mathematics, and solid state control devices, with responsibilities including adding receptacles, lights, and switches to existing circuits, and replacing panels or motors as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 yrs experience troubleshooting electrical systems, electronics and all equipment
• Completion of an accredited trade school or four years of electrical experience with a strong maintenance background
• Ability to differentiate colors
• Solid reading and verbal/written communication skills, and ability to keep accurate written records
• Ability to handle multiple tasks/jobs
• Excellent people skills
• Solid computer skills with Word and Excel
• Demonstrable communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Position requires full availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow electrical codes (NEC) and perform electrical work in maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Install/move receptacles, lights, or switches on existing circuits
• Replace panels or motors with like-for-like parts
• Add circuits to existing conduits and home runs
