Job summary

Six Flags Corp in Vallejo, CA seeks an Electrician to maintain and install park electrical systems and repair facilities up to heights of 150 ft. You will perform preventative maintenance and logs, work with a variety of electrical tasks, and ensure safety standards across rides and facilities.

The role requires 2 years of related experience, ability to work nights/weekends/holidays, and valid driver's license to operate a range of vehicles including forklifts.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to troubleshoot clearly, calmly and safely.
• Must have tools and equipment to perform required duties.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to operate forklifts, golf carts, cars, trucks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot facilities to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Repair and maintain electrical systems including wiring, lighting, transformers, switches.
• Work on ozone generators, compressors, blowers, fans, pumps, motors.
• Inspect rides, facilities and attractions and report hazards.
• Install new electrical systems as assigned and determine materials and placement.
• Follow state, local, and park regulations for installations and maintenance.
• Work with others to solve ride-related problems.
• Maintain daily repair logs and journals current.
• Perform all other duties as required.
