Long Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role supports production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with codes.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues in production equipment, HVAC, conveyors, and building systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Work with PLCs, HMIs, and assist in commissioning new equipment and upgrades.
  • Document maintenance activities in SAP-CMMS and support process improvement initiatives.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of PLCs (Allen‑Bradley preferred) and industrial control systems.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Knowledge and Education

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in an automotive or high‑volume manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with 480V 3‑phase systems, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards.
