About the Role We are seeking a Facilities Electrician to be a part of the maintenance team based in Charlotte, NC. The Facilities Electrician role is responsible for operating, maintaining, repairing, inspecting, troubleshooting, testing, and installation support of facilities systems equipment (includes heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, building electrical, compressed air, pneumatics, building and grounds, fire facility monitoring, fire response systems, lighting, plumbing, water, docks, roll-up doors, monitoring building systems and Building Automation System).
Reporting Relationships This position directly reports to the I&E Maintenance Supervisor and does not supervise others.

Education Background: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent training required. Special courses in HVAC, electrical, pneumatic, facility monitoring/control and power plant systems are preferred.
Knowledge & Experience:
Working Environment This position is in a manufacturing plant setting that would require working in a production environment around chemicals. Work will require standing and walking for up to 80% of the time. Lighting and temperature are adequate. You may be required to lift up to 30 pounds and/or force necessary to push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Celgard manufacturing sites are IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certified.
