Job summary

Teema seeks an experienced Facilities Electrical Technician to support a high-tech manufacturing environment in Peoria, AZ. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving critical electrical power distribution systems across low- and medium-voltage infrastructure.

You will work across preventive maintenance, emergency response, construction, commissioning, and ongoing facility operations while adhering to NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, OSHA, arc-flash PPE, and LOTO requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial or commercial electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems under 600V.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and panel schedules.
• Proficiency with electrical test instruments.
• CMMS experience.
• Preferred: Journeyman license or equivalent certification; 4kV–15kV MV experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain preventive and corrective maintenance on switches, MCCs, panels, breakers, transformers, UPS, and generators.
• Inspect grounding systems, cable trays, bus ducts, and protective devices.
• Perform electrical testing: insulation resistance, torque, load measurements, and thermography.
• Maintain test equipment such as megger and clamp meters.
• Troubleshoot power circuits and distribution equipment.
• Support conduit installation, wiring, and panel wiring.
• Follow NFPA 70, 70E, OSHA, arc-flash PPE, and LOTO.
• Maintain schedules and CMMS records.
