Howmet Aerospace’s Hampton Structural Castings (HSC) is seeking a Facilities Electrical Specialist who has a demonstrated ability to achieve results, as well as the passion to put that experience to work to lead activities and support the plant/location team to achieve manufacturing excellence. Job Summary
The Facilities Electrical Specialist will report directly to the Facility Engineering Team Leader. This position provides technical engineering services and project management to support production, maintenance, and administrative department's achievement of the location's business plan.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee contractor work and compliance with Howmet Aerospace, Federal/State, Environmental, Health and Safety policies.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and 7- 10 years' experience in maintenance and controls.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience working with electrical systems such as power distribution, PLC's, HMI’s, and database systems
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution
Experience with Project Management.
Capable of programming Allen Bradley/ControlLogix/Modicon PLC systems
Experience programming Wonderware, SQL, touchscreen HMI/SCADA systems
Understanding of NEC, NFPA, and other pertinent electrical safety codes
Ability to use ACAD/Inventor
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
