Job summary

Honda seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary facility electrical projects, coordinating design, equipment, and resources to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

You will act as SME for PLC, VFD, motors, arc-flash, and work with contractors to ensure designs meet specifications, codes, and performance expectations while driving continuous improvement across maintenance and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with experience.
• 1–8+ years of related work experience based on education.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical utilities and infrastructure.
• PE license and project management experience preferred.
• Familiarity with NFPA/NEC/OSHA and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary facility electrical projects and manage resources.
• Monitor progress against the project plan and resolve issues.
• Coordinate design, procurement, and installation with contractors.
• Ensure compliance with codes, specs, and performance expectations.
• Plan preventative maintenance and long-term investments.
• Provide SME support for PLC/VSD/motors/arcs-flash; collaborate with vendors.
• Analyze operating conditions and drive continuous improvement.
