Job summary

GSK in the United States is seeking an Electrical Facilities Engineer to support electrical systems across US sites. You will work with site teams, service partners, and project teams to keep critical systems safe, compliant, and reliable while enabling rapid manufacturing of medicines and vaccines.

You will engage in hands-on engineering, project exposure, and improvements to keep operations running and advance the company mission of uniting science, technology and talent.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting electrical facilities in industrial/manufacturing environments.
  • Working knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices relevant to industrial facilities.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical equipment.
  • Ability to work with contractors and cross-functional teams to deliver safe outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for electrical systems including power distribution and emergency systems.
  • Lead assessments, investigations, and corrective actions for electrical incidents and audits.
  • Support capital and maintenance projects by reviewing designs and risk assessments.
  • Drive site compliance to electrical codes, engineering standards and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with service partners and contractors to plan work and verify quality.
  • Maintain asset and documentation records and ensure smooth project handover.
  • Identify improvements and design changes for automation and procedures.
