Qualifications

Job Title: Facilities Electrical Engineer

Job Description

• Manage electrical and controls scopes for capital improvement, obsolescence, and process optimization projects.
• Coordinate full lifecycle of assigned projects: scope development, bidding, equipment selection, installation, startup, and closure.
• Provide engineering support for production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
• Lead PLC, HMI, and robotic programming efforts across all plant facilities and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all automation systems and changes.
• Drive improvements to existing automation technology and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety policies, including oversight of EHS procedures.
• Supervise contractor activity and ensure adherence to electrical codes and standards.
  
  

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience with electrical systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and power distribution.
• Experience managing technical projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
• Programming experience with Allen Bradley/ControlLogix/Modicon PLCs.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and other applicable electrical codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
  
  

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Benefits will be provided after the introduction call.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Hampton,VA.
