Job summary

Xanterra Travel Collection is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Dispatcher to receive and dispatch maintenance requests by phone, email or radio. You will generate and manage maintenance work orders in the CMMS and coordinate with craftspeople to keep operations running smoothly.

The role is full-time, year-round at Grand Canyon Railway and Hotel in Arizona, with a schedule of four ten-hour days and three days off.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Arizona Driver’s License and ability to comply with company vehicle policy.
• Must have working knowledge of crafts trades, tools, and responsibilities as they pertain to general maintenance.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must be at least 19 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches maintenance requests quickly and accurately based on priority.
• Communicates professionally with staff and management via phone, email, and radio.
• Ensures maintenance information is complete and correctly formatted in the CMMS.
• Maintains and closes work orders, tracking time and materials.
• Fills in as Tool Room Attendant as needed.
• Processes purchase orders for parts and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
