Job summary

The Facilities Director at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC has ultimate responsibility for the operation of all service lines at the facility, directing the POM, Environmental Services, and Grounds Maintenance departments. The Director formulates policies, guides operations, and oversees the account with a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

He/She leads staff, manages budgets, ensures regulatory compliance, and partners closely with the facility client to achieve shared

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of custodial operations, grounds, MEP and HVAC
• 5 years POM management experience preferred
• Experience with large annual budgets
• Extraordinary customer service and quality attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and meet goals

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage department operating budgets
• Coordinate POM activities with other departments
• Plan, organize, direct, and supervise department functions and activities
• Establish and implement policies and procedures for operations
• Mentor staff and ensure safety and quality standards
• Maintain liaison with administration, client, and vendors
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
• Oversee facility upkeep and asset management
• Lead strategic development and collaboration with the client
