Job Summary

As a Director of Facilities, you will oversee planning, organizing, and managing plant operations and building renovations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review and evaluate existing programs, policies, and procedures.
2. Monitor work flow and quality to ensure timely completion and compliance with standards using computerized maintenance, construction, financial, and energy management systems.
3. Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including energy savings programs.
4. Ensure regulatory compliance with agencies such as the Joint Commission, State Health Department, EPA, and others.
5. Provide guidance, training, and motivation to staff.
6. Maintain effective client relationships.
7. Monitor performance and conduct evaluations for personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related experience preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years hospital engineering or maintenance experience at the Director or Assistant Director level.
