Job summary

Modular Mission Critical, part of M.C. Dean, seeks a Director of Facilities to lead end-to-end operations for a 1.8 million square foot manufacturing and warehousing campus in Virginia.

You will manage a skilled facilities team, oversee power infrastructure, water systems, and regulatory compliance while driving capital projects and energy management. This leadership role requires extensive experience in large-scale industrial environments, strong safety credentials, and a track record of

Qualifications

• 10+ years facilities management experience with 5+ years in director-level role in large industrial/manufacturing facilities.
• Master's degree or 12+ years with a Bachelor's in a related field.
• Proven CMMS, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems knowledge.
• Experience coordinating utility upgrades and campus expansion projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct campus facilities operations across 1.8M+ sq ft and 585 acres for maintenance and readiness.
• Oversee high-voltage electrical systems, power distribution, and energy management.
• Lead facilities team, contractors, and safety/compliance programs.
• Manage capital construction from scoping through commissioning and turnover.
• Coordinate with utilities and regulators for permits, inspections, and service upgrades.
• Develop annual CapEx budgets and multi-year infrastructure roadmaps.
