Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of progressive work experience in facilities and building operations.
• Alternative: 10+ years of progressive work experience without a degree.
• Management experience is required.
• Experience with CMMS (e.g., ServiceNow) and MS Office is preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of building planning and operations to support teaching and research.
• Establishes processes for maintenance, repairs, safety programs, and renovations.
• Oversees staff and contractors responsible for mechanical and electrical equipment and grounds.
• Develops SOPs for maintenance and lifecycle planning of building systems.
• Partners with EH&S for safety compliance and emergency planning.
• Manages facilities operations budget and large capital projects.
