Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System seeks an Assistant Project Manager for Plant Operations to develop and administer capital projects, manage scope, costs and timelines, and collaborate with senior leadership. You will present proposals, balance stakeholder needs and drive projects to successful completion with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Healthcare construction experience preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of construction related experience.
• OSHA 10-hour certification preferred; if not current must obtain within first year.
• LEED certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and administer capital projects as designed by manager and/or Senior Leadership.
• Develops project scope, schedule and budget with input from facilities management, user groups, design consultants and construction managers.
• Presents facility/space issues and proposals to end users and senior management for informed decisions.
• Drives projects to resolution by leading groups with disparate needs to obtain consensus on capital issues.
• Regularly communicates with department heads, staff, consultants and contractors for effective project completion.
