Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is seeking a Facilities Custodian for the seasonal season on-site at Snowshoe, WV. You will maintain cleanliness, stock supplies, and assist in light maintenance to keep our facilities welcoming for staff and guests.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift and move heavy objects, and the flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays. On-mountain housing is available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial or janitorial services.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces in offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Trash Removal: Responsible for collecting and disposing of trash and recycling materials.
• Maintenance Support: Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and reporting larger maintenance issues.
• Inventory Management: Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning products and toiletries.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
