Job summary

Johnson County Facilities Department is seeking a Custodian Technician II to maintain clean, safe, and orderly facilities. Shifts include Sunday 8:30am-5pm and Monday-Thursday 6am-2:30pm, with possible overtime and afterhours work.

Responsibilities encompass deep cleaning, floor care, sanitizing restrooms, stocking supplies, and log maintenance. A high school diploma or equivalent plus one year of related experience are required; a criminal history check and valid driver's license are mandatory.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience.
One additional year of related experience may substitute for education.
Must pass a thorough criminal history screening and have a valid driver's license.
Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions.
Uniform and PPE are required; safety procedures must be followed.
Overtime and afterhours work may be required.

Responsibilities

Completes detailed cleaning including disinfecting surfaces; dusts, mops, sweeps, and floor care; washes windows and furnishings.
Cleans and sanitizes toilets/restrooms; restocks supplies; supports recycling efforts.
Operates floor maintenance equipment and performs biohazard cleaning per protocol.
Completes paperwork, timesheets, and equipment logs.
Follows safety guidelines in secured environments.
