Job summary

Asbury Theological Seminary is seeking a dedicated custodian to maintain clean, sanitary, and organized spaces for students, staff, and guests. The role encompasses cleaning classrooms, offices, chapels, conference rooms, fitness areas, and housing units, as well as setting up for classes and events.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, assisting with event staging, and upholding safety standards. Candidates should be detail oriented, capable of following directions, and willing to work

Qualifications

• Must understand verbal and written instructions.
• Detail oriented with conscientious work ethic.
• Able to stand, stoop, bend, and reach for majority of shift.
• Willingness to work weekends or holidays when scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, stocks, organizes, and collects trash.
• Cleans and/or disinfects all surfaces in classrooms, offices, chapels, conference rooms, fitness facilities, restrooms, and corridors.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and polishes floors with appropriate equipment.
• Replenishes restroom supplies and stocks linen for guest units.
• Sets up furnishings for classes, meetings, and events and moves equipment as required.
• Cleans housing units prior to arrival of students and guests.
• Cleans kitchen and bathroom appliances, fixtures, and cabinets.
• Observes safety measures and reports unsafe conditions.
