Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a dependable Custodian to perform custodial cleaning duties, light maintenance, and room setup for meetings and programs. You will ensure a clean, healthy environment for employees and clients while following all policies.

This role requires flexibility and the ability to work with staff and volunteers in a faith-based organization. Responsibilities include cleaning offices and Chapel, restocking supplies, assisting with pantry deliveries, and supervising community

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Basic maintenance experience and knowledge of related tools and equipment.
• Valid Driver’s license/MVR clearance.

Responsibilities

• Clean entire building, including offices and Chapel; vacuum carpets and mop floors.
• Maintain bathrooms: replace towels, toilet paper, and keep soap stocked.
• Set up classrooms for corps activities and weekly events.
• Inspect and replace light bulbs, cobweb removal as needed.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste at designated bin.
• Supervise Community Service Workers to support cleaning for programs.
• Assist with unloading food deliveries for the pantry.
