Job summary

You will receive assignments from supervision, follow PPE and safety rules, sweep and vacuum, mop floors, polish furniture, dust fixtures, wash windows where allowed, empty trash, restock supplies, and help maintain tools and storerooms.

• Must have US Citizenship for government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Receive work assignment from supervision.
• Follow PPE requirements, safety regulations, and specifications.
• Sweep floor areas and clean and vacuum carpeting.
• Scrub and mop floors in offices and lavatories and clean fixtures.
• Apply wax to and polish furniture.
• Clean, polish and dust furniture, doors, sills, and partitions.
• Wash and polish windows where safety equipment is not required.
• Empty waste baskets, trays, and trash containers.
• Replenish towels, tissues, and soaps in dispensers.
• Check and maintain inventory of supplies and restock from storeroom.
• Maintain tools, equipment, janitor closet, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Maintain LX Certifications, including proper time charging as required.
• Perform work of equal or lower skills level as required.
