Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to operate hand tools for minor repairs.
• Valid NYS driver's license or ability to obtain.
• Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Capability to supervise a small staff and coordinate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks: mopping, washing, dusting, polishing, furniture setup and equipment arrangement.
• Conduct simple carpentry and plumbing related repairs using basic tools.
• Set up seating and equipment for meetings, classes, graduations, and events.
• Requisition and dispense cleaning supplies; report building damages and maintenance needs.
• Develop basic computer skills for facilities management/work order systems and KRONOS.
