Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian in Bellevue, WA to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. The role involves performing janitorial tasks, operating cleaning machines, and managing hazardous waste as required, with emphasis on safety and professional conduct.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, offering hourly pay in the mid-to-high $19 range plus benefits. No specific degree is required; 3–6 months of training or experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and chemicals and safe handling.
• May require a valid driver’s license and forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties as scheduled.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area and report hazards.
• Handle hazardous waste duties: collection, labeling, storage, shipping, and receiving.
• Display professional conduct and teamwork; follow safety rules and procedures.
• Fill in during staff shortages and support shift lead.
