Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is seeking a Custodian to perform cleaning and maintenance across large facilities in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves detailed cleaning of offices, restrooms, and shared spaces, plus routine safety and customer-service tasks.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Basic English (preferred).
• Ability to follow written instructions on labels and use chemicals safely.
• Effective communication with customers and staff.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Basic math and ability to perform simple calculations.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail offices, conference rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment and follow safety/chemical handling procedures.
• Identify and report hazards and assist with safety compliance.
• Assist in setting up conference areas and serving spaces as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout large facilities and work with staff to ensure quality service.
