Job summary

Afognak Native Corporation is seeking a Janitor to perform custodial services, maintaining buildings and facilities in a safe and sanitary state under government contract. Responsibilities include routine and non-routine cleaning, floor care, and restroom upkeep.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, pass a background investigation, and possibly possess a valid driver's license. This is an on-site position in Albuquerque, NM.

Qualifications

• Ability to comply with all safety requirements and wear personal protective equipment at all times.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Applicant must be able to pass a background investigation for both company and Government.
• Must be able to perform physical labor to include lifting and carrying a maximum of 50 lbs.
• May require a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop or scrub and polish floors.
• Remove chips, trash, and other refuse.
• Dust equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polish metal fixtures or trimmings.
• Provide supplies and minor maintenance services; clean lavatories, showers and restrooms.
