Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is seeking a Janitor responsible for maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of plant buildings and grounds. This role involves indoor and outdoor maintenance activities to ensure a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, building maintenance, and janitorial practices.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and groundskeeping equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in changing weather conditions.
• Previous janitorial, maintenance, or groundskeeping experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and locker rooms.
• Refill supplies including paper products and cleaning materials.
• Empty waste containers and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Perform minor building maintenance activities.
• Maintain lawns, shrubs, trees, and landscaped areas.
• Conduct monthly fire extinguisher inspections.
• Operate groundskeeping equipment.
