Job summary

Macomb County is seeking a full-time Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across county facilities. Duties include cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and common areas, moving furniture, and performing light maintenance.

Starting hours are 4:00am–12:30pm with a 37.5 hour workweek. Applicants must have a high school diploma and a valid Michigan driver's license; prior custodial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Prior custodial/housekeeping experience preferred.
• Valid Michigan driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Dusts, sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs and waxes floors.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and maintains supplies.
• Moves and sets up furniture and cleans windows/walls.
• Operates cleaning equipment and reports repairs.
