Job summary

ESFM USA in Ashville, OH is seeking a full-time janitorial associate to keep facilities clean and safe. You will perform heavy cleaning duties, including floors, rugs, walls, and rubbish removal, following infection control plans.

This role requires a reliable, detail-oriented individual who works well in a team and adheres to safety standards. Responsibilities include dusting, damp mopping, moving equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and following the eight-step cleaning procedure.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform heavy cleaning duties including floors, rugs, walls and rubbish removal.
• Adheres to infection control plans and approved procedures.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Punctual, reliable and capable of working Monday–Friday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture as needed and returns to proper placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment; sanitizes surfaces.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and completes tasks.
• Performs all tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Complies with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team and maintains professionalism with customers and colleagues.
