Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusts and damp mops floors.
• Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and positions them correctly.
• Cleans assigned areas with the specified materials and equipment; sanitizes surfaces.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean environment.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and completes tasks.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
