Roanoke County, Virginia is seeking a Custodian to maintain a Recreation Center facility. You will clean floors, restrooms, glass, dust surfaces, remove trash, and support event setup and breakdown.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior building cleaning experience. Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, ability to follow safety instructions, and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays are required. CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Formación

• Prior cleaning experience in buildings.
• Knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and cautions.
• Criminal history and CPS background checks required.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and waxing.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Dust furniture and woodwork; clean glass and mirrors.
• Remove trash from all containers and maintain supply levels.
• Set up and breakdown rooms for rentals, programs and events.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and provide customer service.
