Job summary

• Proficiency with MS Excel, Outlook and Word; ability to learn other software as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must meet driving requirements for Springbrook vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean, and neat condition of the facilities.
• Sweep and mop classrooms, hallways, and stairwells daily; buff as needed.
• Vacuum offices, clean glass, dust, sanitize counters, sinks, and drinking fountains daily.
• Maintain bathrooms in a safe, clean, sanitary condition; vacuum, dust, clean, and sanitize surfaces.
• Refill paper and soap dispensers daily; restock as necessary.
• Inspect floors and arrange for shampooing, stripping, and waxing as directed.
• Lock/unlock doors as designated.
• Keep walkways clear of snow and debris with appropriate equipment.
• Report repairs to supervisor to ensure timely completion.
• Assist other custodians; overtime may be required.
• Check daily for additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• All other duties as assigned.
