Job summary

Washington & Jefferson College seeks a Custodian to maintain keeping areas clean and safe on campus. The role operates on an 8-hour schedule from 8am to 4pm with Mondays and Tuesdays off, supporting routine housekeeping and event setup as directed.

Responsibilities include floor care, window cleaning, waste disposal, restocking supplies, and assisting with moves and set-ups. Training is provided; overtime may be required during peak campus needs.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and comprehend at a level appropriate to the duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and wax floors.
• Move, load and unload furniture and assist with special functions as needed.
• Follow safety regulations and report hazards to management.
