Job summary

Prestera Health Services is seeking a Facilities Cleaner to maintain clean and safe spaces at the Huntington facility. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas, and reporting hazards to supervision.

You will use MS Word/Excel for basic documentation and keep cleaning supplies organized. This is a busy, customer-facing role requiring attention to safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• On-the-job training may be provided.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Experience with electronic systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes facilities.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other areas.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, and maintains floors according to facility standards.
• Disposes of trash and recycling properly and ensures waste receptacles are emptied regularly.
• Follows safety guidelines, including using cleaning chemicals properly and handling hazardous materials according to regulations.
• Maintains outdoor areas, such as sweeping sidewalks and clearing debris.
• Maintains and organizes cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Performs light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks, or repairing simple facility issues.
• Locks and secures buildings as needed.
• Reports any maintenance or safety hazards to the supervisor.
