Job summary

Volt is hiring a Facilities Custodian in Valencia, CA. The role involves performing cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep the facility safe and sanitary, including floor care, trash removal, and restocking supplies. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year experience in related environments and pass a drug/background check.

This is a 1st shift position (6am–2:30pm), full-time with overtime opportunities. Pay rate is $20.00/hr; benefits available based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, janitorial, warehouse, maintenance or industrial cleaning environments preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S/6S principles preferred.
• Must pass a drug and background check.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean floors as required.
• Empty trash and restock restroom supplies (toilet paper, towels, soap).
• Maintain cleanliness of sinks, toilets, urinals and mirrors.
• Clean work area, tools and equipment and remove dust, dirt and waste.
• Paint machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.
• Stock cleaning and restroom supplies and maintain facilities and grounds.
