Job summary

NASCAR at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, near Braselton, GA, seeks a maintenance technician for on-site upkeep, cleaning, and safety. The role supports operations and guest experience in a full-time capacity.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms and offices, performing basic repairs, and groundskeeping. Must be available for some evenings/weekends; no travel is required. Additional duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 years related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Must be available to work some evenings and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and garbage disposal in restrooms, common areas, kitchen, offices.
• Clean restrooms, floors, sinks, toilets, mirrors and offices.
• Perform general groundskeeping and manual labor, including unloading and moving materials.
• Carry out basic repairs and maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Maintain a safe working area and follow safety protocols.
• No travel required; other duties as assigned.

MICHELIN RACEWAY ROAD ATLANTA

Recognized as one of the world’s best road courses, Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is a 2.54-mile road course situated in the rolling hills 35 minutes north of Atlanta. The multi-purpose facility hosts the 10-hour Petit Le Mans race that closes out the IMSA schedule and is the final of the four endurance races contested by the series. The track prides itself on a family-friendly atmosphere, with a “Kids 12 & Under Are Always Free” policy.

Responsible for all general building and facility maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning; ensure all facilities are maintained at the highest standard level to provide a safe environment for staff, visitors, and the public by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following.

• Perform general cleaning, garbage removal/disposal, from restrooms and common areas. Including:
• Fully cleaning restrooms (including floors, sinks, toilets, mirrors)
• Cleaning kitchen (including floors, baseboards, counters, trash)
• Cleaning offices and classrooms (including floors, counters, walls, trash)
• Perform general groundskeeping, sweeping, etc.
• Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Perform basic and general repair and maintenance of buildings, facilities, and /or equipment as needed.
• Maintain a safe working area.
• No travel required.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education And/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1- 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills
