Job summary

Access Group is seeking a Facilities/Custodial professional to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained spaces in support of daily operations.

The role requires inspecting the facility, performing floor care, cleaning surfaces, replenishing supplies, and reporting repairs as needed while adhering to health and safety policies and applicable regulations. Minimal travel is expected for local locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance, grounds or custodial role or on the job training is acceptable.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills which includes a working knowledge of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues.
• Carry out activities to ensure facility is kept in top condition.
• Floor care including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and cleaning surfaces.
• Clean windows and replenish restroom, break room and kitchenette supplies.
• Identify and report possible repairs; complete light maintenance tasks.
• Monitor equipment and supply inventory; request items when necessary.
• Follow health and safety policies and comply with applicable codes and standards.
