Job summary

Pacific West Site Services, Inc. is seeking a Custodial Lead responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the assigned areas and providing work direction to custodial staff.

The role includes scheduling, training, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring safety and PPE compliance under the Custodial Supervisor. A high school diploma or GED, plus CPR/First Aid certification, are required, with forklift certification and a valid driver’s license often preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related custodial experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification; forklift certification and valid driver’s license may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions; strong verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, chemicals, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties according to the daily schedule.
• Provide work direction to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and track equipment inventory.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor; maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Monitor employees for proper PPE use and correct at-risk behavior.
