Job summary

CBRE Government & Defense is seeking a Supervisor for Custodial, Commercial Cleaning, and Groundskeeping to oversee daily tasks and maintain clean, safe facilities. The role requires coordinating staff, monitoring quality, and ensuring adherence to procedures and contractual requirements.

The position involves leading custodial and groundskeeping teams, conducting inspections, training staff, managing supplies, and enforcing safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of custodial/groundskeeping experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a commercial cleaning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction and oversight to custodial and groundskeeping staff to ensure assignments are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to ensure cleaning and landscaping standards are consistently met.
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures, groundskeeping techniques, chemical safety, equipment usage, and company policies.
• Monitor supply inventory and ensure cleaning and grounds materials are stored securely and available as needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for staff regarding daily operations, task priorities, and safety guidelines.
