Summary Description
Responsible for carrying out and coordinating the maintenance of Ohio facilities.
Key Result Areas
- Coordinate and schedule all vendors and inspections efficiently.
- Maintain good relationships with vendors and employees.
- Inspect facilities every week to assess any repairs, replacements etc.
- Carry out any repairs / replacements quickly and to a high standard.
- Keep supply orders up to date.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Service Vendors
- Responsible for contacting and coordinating mechanical, plumbing, and electrical vendors when needed.
- Check vendor’s work to ensure the task has been completed satisfactorily.
Inspections
- Coordinate and meet all inspectors including City, Public safely, Fire and Environmental Health.
Fire/Burglar alarm
- Main point of contact for alarm companies
- Coordinate inspections and services
- First person on the emergency call list.
Trash collection/recycling
- Coordinate trash collection services.
- Coordinate shredding of confidential document/collection bins.
Cleaning
- Coordinates the cleaning crews for all local locations.
- Inspects and ensures maintaining required standards.
Light Bulbs
- Orders and installs replacement light bulbs.
- Responsible for safe disposal of used light bulbs.
Supplies
- Orders and distributes paper and cleaning product supplies for Orlando locations.
- Maintains supply stock levels.
Landscaping
- Coordinates and supervises landscape contractors at Orlando locations.
- Inspects and ensures maintaining require standards.
- Able to carry out gardening tasks as needed.
Minor Maintenance
- Responsible for completing minor maintenance projects, plumbing, painting, electrical repairs.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety roles, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively with vendors and employees of the organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral form.
- Ability to deal with problems
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
- Basic maintenance and plumbing skills.
Physical Demands
- Frequently works in multiple locations.
- Works inside and out.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- Occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, tools, or controls. reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Required to lift and/or move boxes of supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
