Qualifications

Shift:

5:45am to 6:00pm, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, alternating Wednesdays

Pay Rate:

$25.00 per hour

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor, receive, and interpret signals from alarm handlers and software applications within the control room.
  2. Responsible for monitoring equipment such as boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, air scrubbers, make-up air units, and gas and chemical systems.
  3. Assist in restoring equipment to service in case of system failures.
  4. Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
  5. Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members.
  6. Support and monitor processes, address issues, and resolve alarm problems through technical/data analysis.
Requirements:
  1. Intermediate PC skills, including MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  2. Strong critical thinking and communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to collaborate in a team.
  3. Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
  4. Electrical and mechanical aptitude or background.
  5. Understanding of HVAC equipment, pumps, exhaust fans, motors, and other facilities equipment.
  6. Experience in a facilities, project, or mining control room or dispatch environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Five years of control room or dispatch experience.
  2. AAS degree or equivalent.
Physical Effort and Activities:

May require walking up to 5+ miles per day, standing for 8-10 hours, and the ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds. These physical demands are necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
