Job summary

The role focuses on delivering cost-effective projects by tracking milestones, coordinating consultants and contractors, and ensuring end-user input throughout design, construction, and warranty phases.

Responsibilities include planning and scheduling work on projects below capital thresholds, managing scope and budget, and ensuring adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 6 years of project management experience in construction/renovation.
• PMP and CAPM credentials preferred.
• Driver's license preferred for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Participates in transformation and execution of construction project management within the University of Kentucky Facilities Management.
• Monitors milestone metrics and adjusts plans to deliver cost-effective projects.
• Oversees consultant and contractor delivery to project plans and timelines.
• Ensures end user input into design, construction, and warranty phases.
• Recommends and improves processes, decision models, and tools for project governance.
• Delivers timely communications with customers and stakeholders.
• Plans, schedules, coordinates, and implements all work on projects below capital thresholds.
• Ensures construction aligns with plans and specifications; monitors scope and budget.
• Estimates, bids, and contracts with designers/contractors.
• Ensures safety, codes compliance, and regulatory adherence.
