Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions, Fallon Nevada, is seeking a dedicated custodian to maintain clean facilities for the Child Development Center and other contracted sites. The role involves routine cleaning, waste removal, and floor care to meet contractual standards.

The ideal candidate will have housekeeping experience, the ability to follow written and oral instructions, and a valid driver’s license. OSHA 10 certification and background checks are required prior to start date.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment physical examination.
• Pre-employment background check (needed to work in the Child Development Center).
• Custodian/Housekeeping experience.
• Must be able to comprehend oral instructions and follow written instructions on daily work sheets.
• Possess an OSHA 10 card or obtain one within 90 days of employment.
• Possess a valid State Driver’s License.
• Must read, speak and write proficiently in English.

Responsibilities

• Service, clean and replenish supplies in restrooms, breakrooms and common areas.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Shampoo carpets.
• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning duties.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors with cleaners.
